Dental Radiology for the DA (3 days)

Service Description

This course is approved by the NC State dental board of examiners. The ASAP Dental Assistant Program Dental Radiology course gives the graduates additional skills that are in high demand at dental offices. During this course, students experience 7 hours of classroom time and 14 hours of hands-on learning in a lab. This course is 3 days long. Registrants must provide proof of current or past dental office experience (2 years minimum). The minimum training requirement in North Carolina is 7 hours of didactic instruction AND 21 hours of clinical instruction. Successful completion of this course requires passing a written exam with a score of 80% or better as well as taking a full mouth series with 85% or higher.
